Armed with an associate's degree, bachelor's degree and a wealth of hands-on expertise, they have spearheaded numerous initiatives, from organizing soil conservation meetings to serving on various boards, including the local school board, FS Co-op board, and Farm Bureau. Believing in the values of faith, family, and country, they approach farming with a profound sense of stewardship, striving to leave the land in better condition for future generations. With a forward-looking vision, they seek to expand the farm's horizons in ways that ensure profitability and sustainability, driven by a deep-rooted passion for agriculture and a commitment to a brighter future.

Married for 12 years, Mitchell and Jill epitomize a tradition of excellence in sustainable farming. Armed with degrees in Agricultural Business and Communication, complemented by a minor in English, they bring a wealth of expertise to their operation. Embracing no-till farming and the Maximum Farming system, they harmonize profitability and sustainability while actively advocating for agricultural advancement on the local Farm Bureau board. Mitchell's background as a former coach and mentor underscores his personable nature, fostering meaningful connections both on and off the farm. Driven by a vision to ensure enduring vitality for generations to come, Mitchell and Jill, alongside their three daughters, are guided by their shared values of faith and family in establishing a thriving legacy deeply rooted in the principles of responsible land stewardship.

Beyond his professional endeavors, he leads a fulfilling personal life, engaged to his high school sweetheart and raising two daughters with a steadfast commitment to family values. As an esteemed member of the local fire department for over 15 years, serving as Assistant Chief, he exemplifies dedication and leadership both on and off the farm. Known for his patience, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to excellence, he sets a high standard for himself and our operation. With a profound belief in stewardship and ethicality, his goal is to continuously improve our farming practices, ensuring a legacy of sustainability and success for generations to come.
